I think I tried to post this entry a few days before but blogger can't upload my pictures.
CHRISTMAS
Year after year it's like that. First, decide a place to countdown to Christmas, After Christmas, it crack your head time as you decide where to countdown to new year. I had the most China Christmas ever this year. Puff. On Christmas Eve (thanks to the fact that I'm such an asshole so I get to spend the eve myself), I was typing madly online, chatting with ChangBoon (He's the FIRST to wish me Merry Christmas mind you and the ONLY one who chatted online with me during Christmas eve). Then I just wished everyone on my list Merry Christmas.
It's not really that nice to be stuck to a hardcore catholic who must spend Christmas at home or burn in the microwave oven. I'm not mad about that, just lonely. Not really my IDEAL Christmas.
I watched ELF on Channel 5, which really brought up the Christmas spirit (or so you call it) in me. WOOTS touching.
Things got better on Christmas day itself. Woke up at around noon and started calling up Zuozhi, Janice, Eunice, Liting and Maveric. Supposed to have a LITTLE gathering today you see.
Turned out that 50% of those I've call can't make it in time. Oh wells. So I met Zuozhi and Eunice at Whitesands to get all the ingredients got our steamboat.
YES! STEAMBOAT! I FEEL LIKE I'M A CHINA GUY IN SZE CHUAN SITTING AROUND A HOT POT AND DRINKING JUGS AND JUGS OF BEER ALREADY.
Like what Eunice said: Feel like china man.
Not such a bad thing to have steamboat anyway. The weather is too mofakorly cold these few days. The world is practically drowning itself in the gazillion gallons of rain.
Back to NTUC. It was pretty crowded with people stocking up supplies in case singapore drown and their food supply gets cut off. I can't stand crowd. Maybe I should blame myself for walking right in front of them and let them block me, or maybe it's my fault for walking darn near to them to the extent of getting myself scratched by their ever-so-sharp nails or whatnot.
All for just. . .
The food we bought didn't seem alot (at first), but then, once we unpacked everything. . .here's what $40 can get you in Singapore:

It was a nice night with them, different from me going down to orchard and get sprayed and touched and squeezed and pinched and stepped and spit and wet and youknowwhatimean. Maveric came abit later too =D.
Janice got sick and didn't turn up that day. I guessed it since she told me she's not feeling well afew days back. Poor girl got hospitalized. 0.0

HAPPY BIRTHDAY EUNICE

Cheers to the birthday of Eunice Chiam. not today. 29th dec (the date today is 1st jan btw, the date you see at the top happens to be there cos I drafted this post on that day.)
Four guys, namely, cutesy, hunky, witty and yummy went out with the princess that day. WOOTS.
The party of five arrived at Orchard road, probably the busiest and noisiest road you can find in Singapore. GAH. Adding to that, it's the most popular gathering spot for little secondary (or even primary) school students whenever their much awaited holiday has arrived.
On such occasions, they will dress in all sorts of funny things they find in fareast plaza, loads and loads of wrist bands, metal chain hanging from the back of their pocket to the front then to the back then to the side then to their shirt then to the neck then to the wrist, wearing striped shirts with tattered baggy jeans equipped with a super big buckled belt, putting on thick make up so that it can even defend against pistol's attack.
*stops and inhale 1314 mouthful of air*
well, we decided to have lunch first since it's already 1+ pm.

Christmas is coming! 2 more days. woots. I foresee a day of fun (and mess) with crabsticks and kangkong flying over our heads and sticking to the ceiling. =)
First time spending Christmas with my poly friends! EGGCITED.
I miss Liting, she's been missing since holidays started.
I miss maveric, he's slogging like hell for his CDS.
I miss Changboon, where are uuuuuuuuuuu.
I miss Eunice, or not quite, since the last time i saw her was the paint my room day.

Zuozhi and Janice, I will miss u both, but you two were the last people I met. ROARS.hahahahahahahahhahaha

Ahems. Sometimes, someone will pop out stupid sms in the dead night like 2 AM and ask if they can come my house. I don't really care about such sms-es. First of all, I'm in my half dead sleepy mood so i don't see the point in replying to ur stupid sms. Secondly, you can wait until morning when I'm wide awake and chirpy enough to say yes. If not, most of the time it's a no.
Another thing that irritates the shit outta me is that people tend to think that I AM SO FREE (well in actual fact I am). And they just throw you a rather rude sms, without even hi. It goes like this:
when are you free? (note, no mention of the person he/she is adressing, no hi, no hello, nothing. damn rude. Adding on to that, I sense a tone of displease and rage)

Nevermind.
Promised to help Kristel do up her room. With $120. Tough. Gonna hop down to ikea and bugis flea market soon.

Went to IKEA today with Nicholas. Woots. Ya I know I frequent IKEA alot, ALOT. I like ma, cannot huh.
Can see abit of Nic there~ Woots.
P/S: I don't appreciate people keep mentioning about looks of other people. How long can that oval-round head of yours maintain it's radiance? 50 years down the road and some little school girl will call you ugly! and hear that coming from your own grandchildren's mouth. Eat shit.
Believe it or not, it's my first time having their swedish meatballs. GAWDS. It was ok ba, maybe cos people keep telling me things like:
"ITS DAMN NICE"
"MUST TRY"
"IKEA'S MEATBALL IS FAMOUS"
and all the what not crap, so my expectations of those balls were rather high.
The restaurant/cafe or so they call it, has more people then the other parts of ikea, but thankfully the queue for food wasn't too long. I bought meatballs and chocolate mousse, Nic bought seafood spagetthi and chicken wings. Ah, Almost exploded.
Total amount: $15.30
Thankfully we went on a weekday, so it wasn't as crowded. Serious. There was no queue at all when we were making payment. There's so many things I wanna buy, but Nicholas kept saying "you don't need this, you don't need that"
And I ended up with little chiap pa lang thingys.

Mirror. ~3. Wanted 3 and nail them to the wall.
plant: ~8. I had to walk around the plant department before deciding on this plant. Meant to be placed by my bedside but Nic feels that it's better in THAT corner. Oh wells.

Supposed to shop for my work lamp BUT. All the freaking bulbs are so ex! SOME EVEN COST MORE THAN THE LAMPS I WANT CAN. IKEA should lower their bulb's price.
Christmas is coming! I want a table lamp (with bulb), clothes hanger, work lamp (with bulb), tonnes of candles and...to be continued, please keep checking back.

My room is finally painted! THANKS TO ZUOZHI, NICHOLAS AND EUNICE FOR PAINTING IT FOR ME.
Me? I literally sat/stood there and watch. Arms folded. OMG I FEEL SO BAD.
