ok..i call it the hungry ghost festival...but since the movie "the maid" calls it hungry ghost month..so that shall be it..it falls on chinese 7th month...uh ya...which is now la~...lets blog about hungry ghost festival yea?...short form shall be hgf..oo..and the letters line together on the keyboard...
i bet u r looking at ur keyboard and checking for "H" "G" and "F" now...ya la..they are lined together
so...i believe...if ure a chinese..uve heard abt the donts during hgf...hmm...and im puzzled...i noe some la...the reasons behind some...but...like..in the movie rite..."the maid" ar..the sir..actually said something like..." we dont ask why, we just accept it"..omg...thats lik so sad...so i ask y here can?..can la can la...if ure reading and u noe the ans den tell mi lor
firstly...the initial mistake that the maid did was to step on those black ash thingy...erm..u noe u noe?..u burn the paper...den...theres this black colour thing that flies all over?..urm ya?..ok ya...
ya i know that...just...dun step la...its like...we burn them for the ghosts...for our peace...and...u go step...so..no respect like that rite?
for example ar...u got sth from me..den a complete stranger just walk pass and step on it...
omg..what an example...~
aniwae..its the same principle ma...so...rule 1..NO STEPPING ON ASHES
hmm...den the second thing the maid did was to sweep those black ashes...like..why cannot?..if we leave them there...they will still be there wad...unless of cos the wind blows la....den..those road sweepers will sweep them off also?...and..makes no sense..that means...they will have bad luck every yr during thise period?...hmm...mystery 1..WHY CANNOT CLEAN UP UR OFFERINGS?
actually i forgot whats the third stuff la...but we all know sth abt not turning back when u hear someone call ur name at night rite?...oh thats spooky...cos...its human reflex to just turn head..c'mon la..god gave us a neck..so we can put it to gd use...so that we can turn our heads...but...if u wanna turn ur whole body...also can la...just...quite robot robot lo...
and so if somebody calls ur name at night...u must...turn full body...omg...scary...
according to what ive heard...there are lights coming from points lik ur shoulder and head..den if u turn only ur head...the light wont be strong enough???..something like that..ooo spook
then...like...we cant sae things like "ghosts" or "you go die"..ive said it many many times..and quite true eh..ive been having nightmares...and all associated with those things one...scary...fact or tale?
then...actually..i dont know alot of things la...oh..and the opera thingy by the road one rite..never occupy the first row..theyre for VIPS...
then...i not sure ler..can someone fill me in?
